The Troubling Reality of Foster Care in Nebraska
Every year, abused teens are put in the foster care system, or worse, end up as part of the homeless population. Life is an uphill battle for them. When pushed from one home to the next, foster teens often associate family with rejection. They grow up wondering what family looks like and ache to belong. Through Teen Reach Adventure Camp (T.R.A.C.) and the T.R.A.C.life mentoring program, these teens find a place to belong and will develop consistent, positive relationships with adults who care.
